PKM: Adventures with Obsidian

I stumbled across an interesting thread around keeping notes of things learned, such as configuration, machine installs, good sites, etc, and Obsidian was mentioned. I’ve been using Evernote on an occasional basis, but after reading the posts, I became interested in the concept of an overall Personal Knowledge Management system. I decided to explore the Obsidian app, as I have worked with markdown before, and I like the idea of not being tied to a specific platform- the markdown files are stored locally, and I can save them via Google Drive, git, an external drive, or such.

I have started to create notes within this app, using links to connect notes and tag to help organize things. Hopefully by being organized from the get-go, it will make my life easier down the road. I am finding this article to be very helpful.
